TVR CERBERA V8 6000 MILE/12 MONTH FACTORY SCHEDULE

• Carry out preliminary road test.
• Check seat belts operation and mountings.
• Check operation of all electrical components (inc. alarm and air conditioning).
• Remove all road wheels.
• Clean up hubs and apply anti-seize compound to hub spigots.
• Check handbrake operation and lever security, adjust and lubricate if required.
• Inspect brake callipers for leaks, discs for condition, flexible hoses for condition.
• Remove front and rear pads and check for deterioration, wear and cracks.
• Remove rear discs, clean up handbrake drums and shoes, adjust shoes.
• Change engine oil and filter.
• Check exhaust system condition.
• Check/top up gearbox oil.
• Check/top up diff oil.
• Check condition of steering joints, rack gaiters, ball joints and wishbone bushes.
• Check for fluid leaks from power steering hydraulic pipes and unions.
• Check tyres for correct spec and damage, road wheels for damage, refit to original position.
• Check all suspension fixings for security.
• Check anti-roll bar drop link rubbers for wear, free off/lubricate rose joints.
• Visually check complete underside of vehicle for faults/abnormalities.
• Change spark plugs.
• Check ignition coil, leads and connections for deterioration and type.
• Check crank sensor for debris.
• Check engine sensor connections for corrosion.
• Check drive belts condition, adjust/change if required.
• Check air cleaner element.
• Check drive belts condition and tension.
• Check the condition of the engine and gearbox mounting rubbers.
• Check throttles and linkage operation and lubricate where possible.
• Check/adjust throttle stop.
• Check/top up power steering fluid.
• Check brake fluid level and contamination (top up as necessary).
• Check clutch fluid level and contamination (top up as necessary).
• Check/top up windscreen washers and check wiper blade condition.
• Check master cylinder and under bonnet grommets are sealed, reseal if required.
• Check engine breather hoses for security and condition.
• Check coolant level and anti-freeze concentration.
• Balance engine throttle bodies with synchrometer, set tickover.
• Check/adjust engine setting on computer with engine at operating temperature.
• Check cooling system for leaks, hoses for security (pressure test).
• Check cooling fans operation.
• Check/adjust tyre pressures.
• Check headlight alignment and auxiliary lights (if fitted).
• Check/adjust tracking front and rear.
• Check/adjust cambers front and rear.
• Check/adjust/lubricate all hinges and doors, boot and bonnet locks/catches.
• Road test the vehicle.
• Centralise the steering wheel (if necessary).
• Clean exterior and interior of vehicle and stamp service book.
